Students Should Do Housework

I firmly believe students should do proper housework in free time. Some parents think study is kids’ only task, but I hold different ideas. Doing housework helps us master basic life skills such as washing clothes and cleaning rooms.
It also reduces parents’ tiredness after busy work. When we tidy our own bedroom, we learn to take responsibility. Besides, simple housework is a good way to relax after heavy school lessons. I fold my clothes and sweep floors every day. Housework makes me independent and understand my parents’ hard work better.
